Midnight Rant

I used to think Candomblé ceremonies were cute, anthropologically speaking. Now, when my neighbors start setting off fireworks at 2 in the morning, when they start drinking beer and screaming their patsy little heads off, I feel like matching their African chants with a prayer of my own. Where in god's name is my paintball gun?! Pricks.

I appreciate your frustration, but you would describe someone else's religious ceremony as 'cute, anthropologically speaking'??

Two things:
I hate to be woken in the middle of night (and kept awake) by the loudness that is a party.

Second, your blog looks great! I havent been by in a while (since I use a reader and I'm lazy) and I love the new layout!

Hope all is well Leo :)

By cute I mean appealing, but yes, the tone was meant to be mildly condescending (which is why I called it a rant).

P.S. Mark...tell those prepubescent anarchist bastards at the graffiti site to F off. You can't take anyone seriously who still lives in their parents basement. ;- )

Stephanieeeeeeee. I've so been keeping up with your blog lately. I hope you guys can move out soon and get a little space from the fam!

Thanks for clarifying Leo- I'm not going to tell them where to stick it bc I don't want to have anything to do with them ever ever again... actually I may need to update that post bc of recent events. And Stephanie- I agree with Leo re: the eventual move, it will be sooo nice!!

I say a bottle of alcohol and a match out the window would quiet things a bit... :)
